The Return of the Sylvaneth and More... Much More!

Hello my friends! After almost two weeks without a word from me, I'm back in the business... During the entire week we have been flooded with more and more information about the new Sylvaneth. Today I bring you a summary of which was released during the week and what to expect for the next days ... Ohh, everyone loves a new stuff and a mystery. – this ones has goodies for BOTH Age of Sigmar AND 40k!

The Army formerly know as Wood Elves is making a splash with 6 new units including The Everqueen herself – Alarielle!

Save the trees, save the bees, save the whales... save those snails...

We’ve seen art work for many of these units and now we’re getting our first glimpses of the kits.... Some are getting spooky, others are damn gorgeous! Lets check them out!

The Everqueen is coming to Age of Sigmar on a giant killer beetle! Take a look:

All hail the (new) Everqueen!

Her mini is JUST AMAZING! I love how the new Sylvaneth range is depicting fantastical insects in a way that it very different from say Tyranids. I’m loving it. I can’t wait to see this big guy charging into combat with Khorgoraths or Ogor Stonehorns. – CRASH!

Do you still remember her older form (8th edition old...)?

Girl... You changed...

Also, you can check her rules here! But wait, there is much more to see...

Sylvaneth Branchwych, because you need a wizard...

The Drycha Hamadreth...

These new units look great! But it turns out there are even more things plan! The Kurnoth Hunters and The Tree-Reavants are going to be dual-kits for even more options in game.

Kurnoth Hunters with bows...

Kurnoth Hunters with melee weapons...

Spite-Revenants

Tree-Revenants

The Tree-Revenants are dual-kits with the Spite-Revenants, that one is pretty obvious. The Kurnoth Hunters however look to have a primary build of the bows with some melee options reserved for a “Huntmaster” version – it’s a little unclear if that is a “chararcter/leader” upgrade for the unit or if the Huntmasters are just a melee version of the Kurnoth Hunters.

Peek a boo!

These units are definitely taking on more the the forest-spirit vibe than their previous Elvish incarnations. Those Tree-Revenants really stand out to me as a Wood Elvish Spirit mixed with Branch Wraiths which is really cool. And Alarielle is riding a giant beetle – I don’t even know why that makes me so giddy! These are some really amazing looking kits!

Products & Prices:

Scanner reports:
  • How to Paint Sylvaneth ($10)

  • Sylvaneth Dice ($20)
  • Dreadhold Crucible ($100)
  • Realmgate Wars: ALL GATES ($65)
  • Alarielle The Everqueen (on warbeetle) ($130)
  • Tree Revenants ($37)
  • Battletome: Sylvaneth ($50)
The Sylvaneth have already been seen – but they aren’t alone… Also this week we have a new upgrade for the Chaos Dreadhold: Come see the Chaos Dreadhold Crucible!

Skulls, Blades, Brass, Skull Cannons... it's Khorne alright!

The Chaos Dreadhold set is one of the most ornately skull-filled fortifications GW has ever produced. Even as one-off terrain kits they are impressive and make for great scenery. However, if you were one of the folks who went all out and actually bought, built and painted one of the full sets you’re truly going to appreciate this new addition.

Yep, this this is definitely a Khornate tower of death. Silliness aside the fact that this kit is perfectly inline with the other Dreadhold terrain kits is really cool. I have actually been writingan entire series about having Xenos Terrain for Warhammer 40,000 to break-up the Imperial focused themed terrain. These Dreadhold kits were one of the stand-outs in a Games Workshop’s terrain line. I really liked them because even if they are “Age of Sigmar” kits they could easily show up on a Khorne Daemon World. You might have to add more skulls on the table though…

Speaking of Khorne check the latest intel on the new bloody GW boardgame. If you love Khorne, you’re going to love this one:

via barcode and dakka’s chikout (6-26-2016)

Gorechosen: A Game of Brutal Arena Combat in the Age of Sigmar
  • Price: $60
  • September 24th 2016
  • 2-4 Players
  • Playtime: ~60 minutes
Contents:
  • 4 Gorechosen
  • Arena board
  • 4 Fighter Reference Cards
  • 52 Action, Initiative and Critical Injury cards
  • Tokens
  • Dice
Here’s the latest press teaser from this month’s GTM Magazine:

This confirms the basics above and ads more detail on the comic and grizzly Critical Injury cards, the unique “Kill Zones” that each model has to use thier weapons, and how the Wrath game-mechanic works that influences initiative and actions.

And the original press poster doing the rounds.

This one’s a super good deal (minis at about 1/2 normal price) and sounds great fun for a few players with some drinks and a little time on thier goresoaked hands...

But if you think that's all get ready for more goodies coming soon... starting with this teaser:

“Heresy, Betrayal and a Summer Campaign”

Let’s break this down. Oh the Grimdark side of things we have “Heresy, Betrayal”. Hmm that reminds me of this:

Previous rumor from Dakka’s: Sad Panda

“There is no Betrayal at Calth expansion (not counting White Dwarf material and possibly something digital).

There is a separate HH-based game, but it was written before Calth hit the shelves. It is no more an expansion to Calth than Overkill is an expansion to Execution Force. It simply shares the same setting/time period.”

Then we hit the second half: “and a summer campaign”:

That is clearly the kickoff of the Age of Sigmar Summer Campaign. Also note the General’s Handbook is making the rounds in some FLGS stores and GW Retail locations this weekend, so it’s about to hit as well. Check this review from Bad Dice Podcast:

So... which one are you most excited for?
As if it wasn't enough, Forge World has new upgrades for your Ad-Mech Skitarii. Take a look at the minis!

Oh my God... I'm already imagining the prices...

The Ad-mech are now a year old, so it’s about time they started to get the full Forge World “extra bits” treatment.
Well, I reckon that's all for now from my part... Thank you for your time and hoping to write to you soon.

The Quest Continues and... New 40k 8th Edition this Fall?!

Hello my friends! Get ready because the rumormongers have been talking today. Here’s the first details coming in hot:

You came to the wrong neighbourhood...

There have been a few hints that 40k would be getting a new edition. This comes from a very good source, and while we technically know very little about it, we expect that the rules will be streamlined and cut down some.

This comes from a very solid source that has been accurate for a long time here.

via anonymous sources on Faeit 212
also BoLS has been informed by Mikhael the following

Games Workshop will release a new streamlined 40k Edition in Autumn.

Also this is from our Comment Section
via ytook on Faeit 212 (thank you for relaying what you have heard.)
Btw some interesting tidbits from War of Sigmar comments coming from Warhammer Fest
obviously no way to confirm but the commenter is well known:

'Oh..
Expect 40k to have a shake up later in the year!
"It won't be as drastic as Warhammer, but it will be quite a change."
More stream lined and easier to pick...'

and

'I was talking to Ally Morrison and Andy Dunn (They were near the entrance) I know Andy from a while back and during our chat 40k came up...
Well, about how cumbersome it's become.
Any way.
He said the quote above....
;)'

You may not have noticed but this edition it’s only 2 years old. It came out in May 2014! Personally it's a bit odd since GW is updating all the FAQs over the next month or so, it seems they would still be compatible with a new edition coming out a few months later. So reading between the lines, it is sounding like a tidying up edition, rather than a big re-engineering of the game. So what do you reckon?

One can only hope...

In the meantime I'll let you with a funny review of the 7th edition ...

It has been a while but it's still funny isn't it...

Meanwhile, Black Library had a bunch of upcoming novels to show off at Warhammer Fest – including the next Primarch novel. Guess Who it is? Check it out here!

Back to the Age of Sigmar, Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower is already getting an expansion – Come see the latest Mighty Heroes to take to the board!

Mighty Heroes... with yet another stormcast...

It’s a little hard to read, but it looks like this Might Heroes expansion will be $55. If you do the math for those 4 heroes that comes out to quite a discount!

Maybe Games Workshop is saving on the packaging and passing that discount on to the customer. Maybe they are hoping to move excess product quickly. Maybe this is a ploy to get people collecting more than just their “main” army – each of these Heroes is from a different Sub-Faction of their parent Grand Alliance. Or maybe it’s something else entirely. Either way, it’s quite a discount – and the only place to current purchase the Tzeentch Sorcerer Lord.

Get your wallet’s ready. Here is this week’s 40K, Age of Sigmar and of course – Warhammer Quest goodies!

  • Warhammer Quest Silver Tower Expansion Pack $55

Some quick math shows this first Warhammer Quest expansion pack is a great deal – a 60% savings over buying the figures individually as shown below:

  • Slaughterpriest $30
  • Tzeentch Sorcerer $30
  • Knight-Ventor $40
  • Auric Runemaster $30
  • Space Marine Legends: Cassisus $55
  • Ciaphas Cain Trilogy $75
  • Realmgate Wars: The Great Red $17.50 (orruks)

And for the next week we have not one but two teasers!

Hall of Fame, Army of the Month, Paint Splatter and More!

Time to Get Technical…

It seems GW is closing out their fiscal year with a week of citadel hobby and paint related releases (the Technical range of paint I assume). Thank you for your time and hoping to write to you soon.

What's New Today ...Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower and More

Hello my friends! After about a week, or maybe more, without a word from me, I'm back to business... During the entire week we have been flooded with more and more information about the new Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower. Today I bring you a summary of which was released during the week and some new stuff from Forge World!

Back from 1994... but now with a Sigmarine!

This weekend GW is introducing Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower! And the next WD will be a "bumper-sized issue" where you’ll find the complete lowdown on this splendid new boxed game, with Warscrolls for the heroes contained within. That’s right; not only are the heroes great miniatures to play the new game with, but you can field them in Warhammer Age of Sigmar!

There’s also a battle report taking you through the first of the game’s quests and part one of a Paint Splatter showing you how to paint up some of the striking miniatures from the game. But for now all we have are some images and this video of the unboxing!

Oh no, Mormons!

Just kidding... the true unboxing is next!

Those enterprising Texans from FNP Wargamers have a copy of Silver Tower to unbox for us all! It looks like one set of Texans got into a car and drove over to Richmond TX to get the community an unboxing. Enjoy folks!

TADA – Behold the tantalising box in his hands!

Games Workshop is now releasing a brand new edition for this established and well known & recognised game, full with new miniatures and updated game play. This is a re-imaging of a classic game, where the heroes must battle their way through the Silver Tower to defeat the trials set by the Gaunt Summoner. It is a 2-4 player game, with a random game length depending on the table lay-out and the number of players.

The miniatures will be compatible with regular games and the rules for this will be in WD 120 (The heroes) and WD 121 (The bad guys). There will also be a special in-store launch pack with deluxe and limited edition gaming accessories! See photo & details below!

Shiny!

A brand new game in a box, telling the story of a group of mighty heroes battling their way through the Silver Tower. The box contains:

51x brand new highly detailed plastic miniatures, the quality of which there is nothing else like it on the market. Some miniatures are brand new concepts for the army, and will excite many customers! The miniatures have a dynamic single pose and will require glue and assembly (they are not push fit, however easy to put together). The miniatures can be divided into two camps:

The Warhammer Quest Heroes
6x individual Warhammer Quest heroes
Knight Questor – The Paladin (Stormcast Eternal)
Darkoeth Chieftan – The Barbarian (Free People)
Fyreslayer Doomseeker The Dwarf (Dwarf)
Excelsior War priest & Gryph Hound – The header and war priest companion (Free People)
Mistweaver Saith – Female wizard (Aelf)
Tenebrand Shard – The assassin (Aelf)

The Denizens
44x individual Warhammer Quest monsters that live in the Silver Tower. The below list of miniatures make for a great addition or a start of an original Grand Alliance Chaos army!
Gaunt Summoner
Ogroid Traumaturge
2x Skaven Deathrunners
8x Familiars
6x Tzaangors (Beastmen)
8x Kairic Acolytes
2x Pink Horrors
4x Blue Horrors
4x pairs of Brimstone Horrors
8x Grot Scuttlings

Gaming Accessories
A guide book
An adventure quest book
13x Reversible board tiles with different landscapes
6x Hero character cards
36x Skill and treasure cards
40x Exploration (event) cards, to offer even more variation to the game so that each game will be different.
A booklet with assembly instructions
Gaming accessories such as assorted gaming counters and dice sets

The game comes in a high quality rigid box (Dark Vengeance size). The box is full with miniatures and game components and therefore fairly heavy.

These new models look pretty great! I’m glad to see that Tzeentch is getting some love (finally). I’m also really pumped to get a better look at the hero models – we finally get some new Elves (or Aelfs) for Age of Sigmar. I wonder if this will start an Tzeentch Arcanites expansion...

Also today Forge World unveils the new Tau Barracuda AX-5-2 just in time for Warhammer Fest – Come check out this updated Tau Flyer!

Is it... slimmer?!

via Forge World

Right at the last minute, another fantastic model has swooped in! Making a perfect landing just in time for Warhammer Fest is the brand new Tau Barracua AX-5-2, check it out…
Not only has the design of the Barracuda been updated, take a look at all of the new weapon options that come in the kit…
Pew pew!
The new Barracuda will be available first at Warhammer Fest. If want to get hold of this awesome new model before anyone else, then make sure you’re at the event this weekend! Tickets are available on the door, and you can find more information HERE.
And just for comparison sake here is the previous version of the Tau Barracuda:

Old Barracuda...

There isn’t a TON of differences but wings and drone placement are different. The engines also got some fin upgrades. The missile racks also got an overhaul. Couple those changes with all the new weapon options and I think we have a winner!

Speaking of flyers... here's a review of the latest Death From The Skies Supplement...

Apparently every marine chapter gets their version of the new flyers...

And that's all for now. Thank you for your time and hoping to write to you soon.

And The Great Waaagh! Begins...

Hello my friends! During the entire week we have been flooded with more and more information about the new Orruks. Today I bring you a summary of which was released during the week and what to expect for the next days ... get ready for the Great Waagh!, mainly on your wallet.

Gordrakk, the Fist of Gork, leads the Ironjawz on their Great Waaagh!

This week, WD has a lingering look at Gordrakk, (the guy above) – a great green tide washes over the mortal realms as the Ironjawz make their presence felt. There’s a Megaboss on Maw-krusha, Orruk Brutes and Orruk Goregruntas, an Orruk Megaboss and a Weirdnob Shaman for you to have a look at. Oh, and an Orruk Warchanter. And the Orruk ‘Ardboys, and more!

Next WD issue... is Green!!!

There’s also the usual look at the rest of the week’s releases (there’s a Battletome. It’s Orruksome!), a Paint Splatter featuring Brutes and Gore-gruntas, Hat of the Week (no, really) and the usual comment, opinion and reaction from Da Week In White Dwarf. But lets go to what matters:

Products & Prices

So, there’s Orruks and more this week gamers. Grab your wallets and get ready to meet the forces of Destruction!

Prices via Archibald_TK
  • Maw-Krusha (1 model) 90€ / £65 / $110 (Comes with either a Megaboss or Gordrakk the Fist of Gork on top. Apparently the Krusha itself has two heads options. Few aesthetic differences overall.);
  • Gore-Gruntas (3 models) 67€ / £48 / $79 (Huge Boar riders. They are… different? You have to see them for yourselves but I fear they will not be that well received. It appears that those are not 3 different models, but two, one of them being repeated twice. No weapons options and they really all look similar.);
  • Brutes (5 models) 42€ / £30 / $50 (Heavier than Black Orcs, can be built with either two weapons or a two handed one.);
  • Megaboss 34€ / £24 / $40;
  • Weirdnob Shaman 28€ / £20 / $33;
  • Warchanter 26€ / £18.5 / $30;
  • Ardboys (15 models) 45€ / £32 / $53 (Repackaged Black Orcs with round bases.);
  • Battletome Ironjawz (128p) 28€ / £20 / $33 (14 Warscrolls and Battalions);
  • Grand Alliance Destruction (112p) 14€ / £10 / $16.5 (12 factions, 61 Warscrolls, minus at least 7 for the Ironjaws that’s 54 remaining for the old range, place your bets.);
  • New Citadel Dice $8.25 20 dice available in blue, green, red, grey, white and black.

Yellow Black Orcs... because why not...

And there it is the last Grand Alliance book – just as expected. It’s £10, about the same price as Grand Alliance Death, so I would expect it to be another skinny one. That rounds out all the 4 great factions of Age of Sigmar. I’m sure there will be a couple weeks of new minis, and the announcement of the last set of old Warhammer Fantasy miniature cancellations coming along shortly...

Personally I'm more interested in getting immediately the Battletome in order to give a view in the new formations and to assess the strength of this army as a whole ... For now we have some of the rules (see here) which can be seen in detail in the new WD, which will bring 7 warscrolls ... speaking of the battletome:

Age of Sigmar: Battletome Ironjaws Contents

Battletome Ironjawz’ complete contents are revealed . Come see the strangely familiar clans of the Orruks.

Is that supose to be a Power Klaw in his left arm?!

First up the table of contents:

What you see is what you get...

Clocking in at 128pp, Battletome Ironjaws is on the thinner side of the Age of Sigmar releases... Overall, these price points aren’t too shabby. The books sizes are also interesting. Grand Alliance: Destruction is 112 pages, Battletome: IronJawz is 128 pages and Realmgate Wars: Fury of Gork is 208 pages (I think, it’s a little 'ard to read).

But... do Orcs even read?

What I’m curious about is the contents of each book. There isn’t a ton of info to go off of based on the blurbs. From the looks of things Destruction will have all of the old units and IronJawz will have a lot of the newer units. Fury of Gork will probably have all the news back story for the IronJawz as well as some new scenarios pushing the story forward. I guess we’ll have to wait and see…

The Teaser:

“Dakka Dakka Dakka Dakka! Zzap, Kapow, Krakoooooooom!”

Do you think there are more forces of Destruction on the way? Or maybe the 40k Orks are coming back to, you know, not be lag behind their fantasy cousins... Speaking about 40k, check this news, partly related to Orcs!

And a Last Minute Extra: New Age of Sigmar FAQ!

Get in here Age of Sigmar Fans – GW just put out a new FAQ for the game – and a hint of what is to come for 40K.

via Age of Sigmar(facebook)

This one has 19 pages of clarifications and rulings for all the game’s phases and factions. Exactly why they put it out as a set of 19 pages instead of a PDF is a mystery…

Some standouts are:
  • Rules for models being discontinued will continue to be available and legal.
  • You CAN shoot into combats.
  • Line of Sight is not required for pile-in moves.

And ton’s more…

Get in there and tell us what you think. They also said the updated 40K FAQs should be along next week!

Well, I reckon that's all for now from my part... Thank you for your time and hoping to write to you soon.

And... the New Green Tide is Coming!

Hello my friends! After about a week, or maybe more, without a word from me, I'm back to business... This Monday the net has been flooded with new pictures from soon to come Orruks (or just Orcs...) from Age of Sigmar...

Even the wyvern is green ...

There is the Maw-Krusha Sign and a whole lot more – Come see the New Age of Sigmar Orruks pics & the latest from a reliable rumormonger! Here are my top 5...

Da Boss!

Love it... My wallet not so much...

One of the Huge Boar Riders...

... personally I call them Hell Hogs!

The "Shaman" is actually great!

Looks like this week’s White Dwarf may have showed up a little early for someone and they had a camera ready! You can check more in detail here!

That Maw-Krusha is crazy looking! I can’t wait to see it in person. The “Shaman” with the staff and cloak reminds me of Mum-Ra from Thundercats…As for the rest of the Orruks their armor is jagged and bulky. It makes me think that most of their armor is scavenged from other sources and it’s just bolted together. Very Orky.

Now for the rumors:

Archibald_TK is back with more info about price points and kits for the new Orruks.

via Archibald_TK, Warseer 4-18-2016

DISCLAIMER: Before we go you must understand that these models are large, really large. And I mean that they appear to dwarf any other orc models. The Maw Krusha is more massive than the Magmadroth (if I remember the name right), Megaboss is huge… in parallel, this is a very very costly release, even by AoS standard. So don’t be surprised by what follows. Also since there are so many references sorry but I will just give you the Euro/UK/US prices and I’ll complete at a later time. Also I’m going fast so don’t blame me if there are mistakes please.
EDIT- I’ll amend my post with the following: I shall add that when I said they appear to dwarf other orcs models I don’t mean they are Ogre sized, but that they will stand a head above regular Orcs, far more for the Megaboss. Keep in mind GW really don’t make it easy to gauge precisely the size difference between models in their pics.
– Maw-Krusha (1 model) 90€ / £65 / $110
Comes with either a Megaboss or Gordrakk the Fist of Gork on top. Apparently the Krusha itself has two heads options. Few aesthetic differences overall.
– Gore-Gruntas (3 models) 67€ / £48 / $79
Huge Boar riders. They are… different? You have to see them for yourselves but I fear they will not be that well received. It appears that those are not 3 different models, but two, one of them being repeated twice. No weapons options and they really all look similar.
– Brutes (5 models) 42€ / £30 / $50
Heavier than Black Orcs, can be built with either two weapons or a two handed one.
– Megaboss 34€ / £24 / $40
– Weirdnob Shaman 28€ / £20 / $33
– Warchanter 26€ / £18.5 / $30
– Ardboys (15 models) 45€ / £32 / $53 (Repackaged Black Orcs with round bases.)
– Battletome Ironjawz (128p) 28€ / £20 / $33 (14 Warscrolls and Battalions)
– Grand Alliance Destruction (112p) 14€ / £10 / $16.5
12 factions, 61 Warscrolls, minus at least 7 for the Ironjaws that’s 54 remaining for the old range, place your bets.
Well now we have some names to go with those faces and prices to go with those models. From my part that's all for now. Thank you for your time and hoping to write to you soon.

What's New Today ...Grand Alliance of Chaos Contents and More

I wonder when The Empire shows up in the AoS lore...

It's here, it's official, the new Grand Alliance: Chaos! As you'd expect, this is huge news and today's post is going to be suitably massive as a result. Read on to find out more about this new book and it's contents.

Via Warhammer TV:

A blight upon the once-verdant mortal realms, the forces of Chaos are a terrifying swarm of murderous killers who fight for the glory of their hideous patrons. Monsters, daemons and mortals are all caught within the spell of Chaos, lured by the promise of glory and bound to destroy. Followers of the four Dark Gods - and the Horned Rat - storm across the lands, slaughtering all in their path with brute strength, revolting disease and sheer animal cunning - though the Stormcast Eternals fight bravely, to turn back this tide is surely beyond the will of even Sigmar...

A truly weighty tome clocking in at over 300 pages, Grand Alliance: Chaos is an absolute must-own artifact for anyone and everyone collecting Warhammer Age of Sigmar Chaos armies; whether concentrating on a single faction, mixing and matching from the range or splitting the pantheon into smaller chunks, this book is everything you need! The ultimate guide to the myriad forces of Chaos it features extensive information on each of the 21 the factions that make up Chaos, Warscrolls for each and every warrior and beast from each faction (a total of 158!), guiding information and diagrams helping you to choose, collect and organise your forces into armies ready for the gaming table - and a number of Warscroll Battalions, collections of Chaos might with their own special rules and abilities.

Grand Alliance: Chaos details the many different factions that make up the mighty hordes of Chaos at the dawn of the Age of Sigmar. From terrifying daemon legions to glory-seeking mortal warbands, scurrying swarms of back-stabbing skaven to rampaging bands of mutants and monsters, the servants of the Chaos Gods are incredibly varied and diverse.

This book provides an insight into the background and character of each faction, showing how many of them organise themselves for war and describing the reasons that they fight. In this way, Grand Alliance: Chaos provides in-world context for your collection of Citadel Miniatures, and shows you how to mass them into a warband fit to win the regard of the Dark Gods themselves.

The book's index...

Within the pages of this book, you will find a broad range of warscrolls covering all the individual units and characters available to Chaos collectors. You will find a number of warscroll battalions that provide guidelines and exciting in-game bonuses for collecting such formations as a Tallyband of Nurgle or one of the Clans Skyre.

With this eldritch tome in hand, you can gather your grim and evil hordes and lead them to battle against the defenders of the Mortal Realms. The victory of the Chaos Gods is surely at hand, so amass your army of glory-seekers and set out to seek your rewards upon the field of battle.

Related to this release, GW is about to (re)launch the Warriors of Chaos line, now renamed as Slaves to Darkness (for reasons...), and a new "starter" pack called "Lord Heldrath’s Deathtide". Check it out!

Lord Heldrath’s Chaos Deathtide: $180 (about £130)

For those who like the Lore, here are 5 big previews for the new Age of Sigmar Balance of Power Campaign Book.

Via Scanner :

War is coming to the realms of Sigmar, and this new book picks up right where the Quest For Ghal Maraz left off. The Celestant Prime is coming, Allies are rallying to the side of the Stormcasts, and Chaos, well is being typical Chaos it looks like.

Could this be the end for a mighty champion of Sigmar?

Lies and Half-truths!

Keep an eye on UR-Gold!

Slaanesh may or may not be dead, and it looks like someone missed them!

Ultimate Powerrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

So the stage is set for the next episode in the Realm Gate Wars saga. Will Sigmar solidify his battle lines and push forward OR will Chaos once again triumph?

In other news, rumors about a Adeptus Mechanicus (2.0) release are oozing from the warp... apparently with a new codex coming later this year... Here are the rumor's basics:

The Codex

  • Look for a Combined Adeptus Mechanicus book to replace the current pair released in 2015.

Models

  • New combo Robot kit will make 2 different robot versions.
  • New Transport kit.
  • New Flyer kit.
Rules

  • Knights moving to LoW.
  • Mixed chatter regrading specialized Ad-Mech fortifications.

Seems perfectly logical to combine all the codexes in one book, and also adding to the army transport vehicles and flyers, but all the Adeptus Mechanicus and Skitarii releases are just about an year old and some armies from the 40k universe do not even have a paper codex, nor formations or any new models in years... Yes, I'm talking about the Sisters of Battle and a part of me wishes that GW would redesign their army...

Thank you for your time and until the next publication
